The Hydronic Series is a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger designed for highly efficient heat transfer covering a wide variety of liquid types. The heavy duty design makes it ideal for demanding commercial, industrial and residential applications where high performance and low maintenance are important.

Heat transfer coefficients are greater than conventional shell and tube or plate exchangers because of the enhanced heat exchange surface and counter-flow design. Unlike plate heat exchangers, the Hydronic Series is not sensitive to debris clogging because of its large fluid circuits and is mechanically cleanable on the tube side circuit.

N/A Vented Double-Wall for Safety

The Hydronic Series heat exchangers are available with vented double-wall copper construction for an added measure of safety and reliability. The double-wall design prevents contamination of the potable water from the other non-potable liquid circuit. Each tube is manufactured so that a vent path is created between the outer and inner tube. A failure in either tube wall will vent to the atmosphere, preventing cross-contamination of either fluid circuit. This fail-safe design meets all national, state, local and provincial health and plumbing codes requiring double separation and cross connection safety requirements.
