AC Series™ Mechanically Cleanable Commercial Desuperheaters recycle rejected heat from your air conditioning or refrigeration system and use it to heat water or other fluids. At the same time, desuperheating lowers refrigerant temperature and pressure, reducing energy input to the compressor. You save by reducing or eliminating the energy required for water heating while increasing the efficiency of the air conditioning/refrigeration system.

The Doucette AC Series™ heat recovery unit delivers substantial energy savings by heating potable water by recovering waste heat from refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems. The AC Series™ can effectively heat water up to 140ºF, and is ideal for systems ranging from 5 - 200 HP using reciprocating, scroll and screw compressors. The unit arrives as a standard factory package that is ready to install, and can be applied to both air- and water-cooled systems.
